Insider: Peri
Extension: 37 acres
The vineyards sit in the scenic landscape of Lago di Garda (Lake Garda), one of northern Italy’s most beloved regions. The soil here was shaped by four glaciations, forming rolling moraine hills and clay plains that promote biodiversity and a Mediterranean microclimate at one of the world’s northernmost latitudes.
In the southwestern Brescian shore of the lake, the land enjoys a balance between cultivation and wildlife, producing wines of unique expression.

Production: 95,000 bottles
In 1946, the Peri family acquired a historic palace in Castenedolo, originally built in the early 1700s. Beneath it, an impressive marble staircase leads to an ancient cellar — the heart of Peri’s winemaking tradition.
Already active in the 1920s, the cellar has seen generations of evolution. In 1980, Peri began making Metodo Classico sparkling wines. A new vinification facility opened in 2012, enabling the third generation to carry forward the vision of quality and elegance.

Proprietor: Peri family
Winemakers: Andrea Peri, Alessandro Santini
The Peri family has maintained the winemaking legacy for over 75 years. In 1972, Mario and Maria Peri launched the first labeled bottles. By 2008, their son Andrea started an internationalization effort, exporting across three continents. A new modern winery was built in 2012 to support this growth and secure the future of the estate.
